TRAVEL INFORMATION FOR ETHIOPIA

VISAS UPON ARRIVAL


We are pleased to confirm that Ethiopian Airlines has arranged for Visas on Arrival for all Officially Registered Conference Participants and these will be available at Addis Ababa (Bole) International airport, at a cost of approximately US$50 for one month. It is recommended that you bring US$ cash to pay for this.

  

PASSPORT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Your passport should be valid for a minimum period of six months from the date of entry into Ethiopia. Make sure you have two blank pages in your passport on arrival.

  

YELLOW FEVER REQUIREMENTS

The government of Ethiopia requires proof of yellow fever vaccination if you are travelling from a country with risk of yellow fever virus transmission and ≥9 months of age, including transit >12 hours in an airport located in a country with risk of yellow fever virus transmission.
